Hi there -

I don't believe I added anything special for plugins. This is a humdinger of a template to get working tho! Wish I could explain why mine loads faster. Maybe your images are too large? 800 pixels wide is about all you should try using. Bigger than that slows down page load far too much.

Hi Watsy -

The eggs of those caterpillars came on the plant and what you're seeing is probably the larvae of Silvery Cherckerspot butterflies. If they look like this lovely closeup shot, then this is very likely your predator. Coneflowers are butterfly magnets, unfortunately they are also their baby food. The caterpillars won't kill the coneflower plants but will no doubt defoliate them. Some gardeners who grow to enjoy the butterflies allow this destruction as an ends to their means.

Be advised that after consuming about 20 leaves each, they will find a nice spot close to those prized coneflowers of yours and hatch in the spring to lay more Silvery Checkerspot eggs on all your Echinacea plants! Best to nip it in the bud now if you want gree, lush foliage on your Hot Papaya and Meringue. Once they run out of foliage on the host plants, they will transfer to your Meringue until fat enough to go into hibernation. Sevin will do away with them if you are interesed in preserving the plant and not becoming a Silvery Checkerspot farmer. Apply according to the directions to dripping off point on every surface of stem and leaf, including the undersides. If you spy more of them after the treatment, you will have to reapply to get the ones missed in the first assault.

Hi

St. Benedictine Dianthus is really a beautiful flower. All the effort that goes in planting this flower is seems worthy when you witness it blooming in the garden.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Regards,
Steve
